Austin, TX (October 29, 2024)—Lone Star Circle of Care (LSCC) and Delfina Care Inc. announced a partnership today to provide all pregnant patients at LSCC with Delfina Care, an innovative system of proactive pregnancy care.
The pilot launched on July 23, 2024, and within less than eight weeks, achieved the target objectives and surpassed the target enrollment identified for the pilot. The pilot, involving two OBGYN providers at one LSCC practice site and a population health nurse, represented the initial implementation of Delfina’s maternal health platform. Designed to improve maternal health outcomes, this pilot aimed to enhance the patient experience by providing advanced resources for pregnant patients and their care teams.
LSCC has partnered with Delfina to expand access to Delfina Care for eligible patients across its participating locations in the greater Austin community. Delfina was selected for its deep commitment to health equity and its mission to provide care to underserved populations, ensuring access to high-quality healthcare for all. This collaboration aligns with Delfina’s goal of improving maternal health outcomes for all mothers, regardless of background.
Through this partnership, Delfina Care will provide LSCC’s OBGYN clinicians with advanced tools and resources, including doulas for each patient, to deliver more proactive and personalized care, enhance the patient experience, and address the specific needs of Austin’s diverse community.
