Mayra is a Spanish-speaking Doula and Childbirth Educator. She has supported families for the past 10 years through birth, postpartum, and bereavement. She was born in Ecuador and currently calls Chicago home. Before birth work, her roots were in Education and Journalism. She’s passionate about providing bilingual, evidence-based, and culturally sensitive care to families. Through education and support, her goal is to aid families through the transition into parenting. She enjoys music, reading, dancing, hiking, and traveling with her husband and two kids.
