Objective: Lead sales efforts for health plans vertical. 

About Us: Delfina provides a leading pregnancy care data platform to improve maternal and child health outcomes.

About You: We are seeking a Vice President of Sales, Health Plans to join our Growth team and quarterback the end-to-end sales process from understanding customer needs, acting as a consultative partner, negotiating pricing, contracting, and assisting with ongoing account management for escalated service concerns. Our VP, Health Plans is someone who has a growth and customer-centric mindset with a strong foundation in Medicaid Sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish, build and maintain strong relationships with health plan stakeholders across functions and levels, from C-suite to day-to-day procurement.
  • Communicate the value of Delfina as an advisor and consultant to clients, serving as a thought leader to build relationships.
  • Collaborate closely cross-functionally on prospective customer opportunities, including pitches, events, conferences, and presentations. 
  • Act as voice of the client; translating the client’s needs and advocating for the prospective client internally and externally. 
  • Adjust the go-to-market strategy and product adjustments and innovation most relevant for health plan’s needs and Delfina’s capabilities
  • Communicate market insight to product, engineering, and data science teams as strategically relevant and impactful.

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 10 years experience managing and growing relationships in a growth-oriented capacity. Plus minimum of 3 years of experience selling to the US Medicaid market.
  • Knowledge of SaaS-based digital health solutions (wellness/population health/social determinants/benefits) for employers, payers, and at-risk clients.
  • Demonstrated sales success.
  • Strong operational skills including project management, business requirements gathering, and relationship management.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience with HubSpot

Compensation: $175,000 - $210,000 per year

This role also includes the potential for significant performance-based incentive pay.

The base salary range for this full-time position in the United States represents a wide variety of factors, including location, skills, experience, education, and training. New hires who meet most of the qualifications above should expect to earn near the middle of the posted salary range.
