About Us: Delfina provides a leading pregnancy care data platform to improve maternal and child health outcomes.

‍About You: As the first software engineer dedicated to DevOps, Cloud, and CI/CD, you’ll have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions across our platform. Some key projects you might expect to work on immediately include revamping our build system, optimizing our deployment pipelines, and rethinking our automated test suites.

Responsibilities:

• Develop CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and build systems
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards
• Collaborate with the backend development team to deploy code optimally
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in DevOps development to propose and implement innovative solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, backend developers, and QC engineers
• Take initiative to improve our systems by thinking about software architecture, security, documentation, or whatever else we’re working on -- Delfina is a startup, and we’re looking for engineers who are excited for new challenges

Qualifications: 

• Strong proficiency in CI/CD, and cloud technologies
• Familiar with these tools, or equivalent experience: Docker, GCP or another cloud provider
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies, such as opentofu, terraform or pulumi
• Experience with GitHub Actions or a similar CI/CD system
• Proficiency writing automated test suites and testable code
• Familiarity with version control systems (git and GitHub)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
• Experience with Python, Postgres
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Prior experience in the healthtech industry or working on healthcare-related projects.
• Passion for addressing challenges in maternal health and contributing to solving the maternal health crisis

Compensation: $130,000 - $155,000 per year (junior), $155,000 - $185,000 (mid-level)

The base salary range for this full-time position in the United States represents a wide variety of factors, including location, skills, experience, education, and training. New hires who meet most of the qualifications above should expect to earn near the middle of the posted salary range.
