Objective: Promote the value and impact of a groundbreaking maternal health platform across the greater Chicago area.

About Delfina: Delfina provides a leading pregnancy care data platform to improve maternal and child health outcomes. Our Intern will join our Clinical and Growth teams to visit with physicians, nurses, and practice managers at potential clinical partner locations. Our ideal Intern has excellent sales, problem-solving, organization, and communication skills and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting of potential clinical partner locations in the Chicago metropolitan area.
  • Complete in-person visits to potential sites to explain the value of Delfina Care and generate excitement among clinical support staff
  • Complete virtual or in-person follow-ups with potential clinical partner locations and answer non-clinical questions about the Delfina Care platform.

Requirements:

  • Enrollment in a healthcare study program alternatively prior healthcare experience in a clinical setting
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Proof of current automobile insurance
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills and attention to detail
  • Independent and creative mindset to sales outreach
  • In-person visits to Chicago area locations are required, fully remote for administrative tasks
  • Commitment of at least 10 hours per week for a minimum of 3 months

Compensation: The compensation range for this contract position in the United States is $20-$25 per hour with significant performance-based commission options. Expense reimbursement and a per diem rate are also included for travel to clinic sites. While this range represents a wide variety of factors, including location, skills, experience, education, and training, new hires who meet most of the requirements above should expect to earn near the middle of the posted compensation range.
