Lisa Bain, MD

Lisa graduated from Stanford University back when the basketball team was ranked first in the Pac-10. She went on to work for the National Quality Forum in Washington DC before starting medical school at the University of California, San Francisco. She went east to the Massachusetts General Hospital for Children for her Pediatrics residency where she enjoyed cheering for the Red Sox and running along the Charles River. She then returned to UCSF for her fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine.

Lisa is currently an Associate Clinical Professor and Director of Quality Improvement in the NICU at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford. She has three kids and a crazy cat and if she had spare time, she would enjoy baking and going to Stanford football games.
